Let's be honest, Sproles isn't getting any younger. While he may still have value, it seems age and injuries may have gotten the best of him.

Luckily for us, there is a guy of similar stature coming up in this draft. You may have heard of him.

Fast as hell, decent route runner but has hands of stone. Outside of kickoffs, I can't see the immediate impact we need in the black and gold.

He's a burner. Sproles was never a burner. Hes always been quicker then fast. We see him get caught from behind a lot. No catching this kid from the back.

I want Dexter McCluster.

Fast, shifty and has good vision. But I also noticed the fantastic blocking he has. Great down field and initial blocking.

If we cant get him , may want to look into getting Dri Archer ... Who's even faster and would fit that role perfectly ...

I see great blocking and him NEVER BEING HIT. This won't happen in the NFL. Reminds me of Reggie Bush and we know how that turned out. Sprolles breaks tackles.

Bush, when healthy, was very lethal at times. And even now, he can be very dangerous. Thomas has tremendous speed and play-making ability, something we severely lack on offense.

Thomas has amazing vision and he utilizes his blockers to perfection.I am impressed by both players,but Thomas gets my vote.

Sproles might have one more year in him. I know he wasn't explosive last year and that doesn't bode well for him getting older. Draft picks for a 3rd or 4th sounds good to me too.

I'd prefer Archer instead of Thomas. Thomas not only has no true position, he can't catch. While he's an explosive athlete, he's the type of player that will field a punt inside the 10 trying to make a big play than let the ball go for a touch back. While he will keep you on the edge of your seat, he will also cause you to gouge your eyes out. Every time he fields a kick, you're going to have a Hartley type feeling rolling around in your gut. He could fumble the ball or take it to the house.

He's a smaller Reggie Bush w/o a refined skill set. I honestly felt he should have been a defensive back in college.

For RBs... burst, vision, and elusive cutting trumps speed. Go through the past Combine results for RB 40 times... For the most part the top 3 fastest RBs from each year are not names we know.

I have watched this guy EXTENSIVELY for the past two seasons...
He is WAY overrated.
HE's fast, yes, very fast... But that is all.
He is paper thin and weak. Gets hurt easily.
We don't need him.
A lot of his runs are built into a system that relies on overwhelming opponents who have less talent and can't keep up with the Ducks up tempo offense.
Check his numbers against good defensive teams...
