Payton, Sherman exchange compliments

Re: Payton, Sherman exchange compliments
I don't like him much right now, but if he wants to come play in New Orleans when his contract is up with Seattle, I'd be okay with that.

Considering the cap situation the Saints are in, there is a greater chance the price of gasoline will go back to .25 a gallon than the Saints signing Sherman! Plus the server will probably go down handling all the threads and posts with 'thug' in them! |

Re: Payton, Sherman exchange compliments
Truth is, he's not a "thug". He's probably one of the smartest guys in the league, doesn't have any public off-field issues, and seems to be the only guy on Seattle's defense who plays the game the right way.
So what if he cut one interview that looked like he was auditioning for the WWE after retirement, proclaiming himself the "Best corner in the game". It's not bragging if you can back it up, and he does. He really is the best corner in the game...right now. You can ask Nnamdi Asomugha and Derelle Revis how fleeting that title can be, but he holds it currently. |
Re: Payton, Sherman exchange compliments
That interview was outrageous! but we all now know who Richard Sherman is he dominates the media. Just like Miley Cyrus it's not hard to grab the media attention if you step out of the box. He is not a Thug, in fact he probably has ripped a lot of attention away from Peyton Manning which probably has Peyton and Papa John scratching their heads!

Re: Payton, Sherman exchange compliments
why is it forgotten that the media got it wrong on Sherman. they tried to push the issue and paint him in a negative light but clearly got it wrong, He was mic'd up that game and ran after crabtree to offer sportsmanship he said and I quote "hell of a game man hell of a game" crabtree didn't like it so he slapped his facemask without the added mic audio it would appear he went after crabtree, with the audio now public why is it he still is a thug? I rest my case look at the film!

Sherman is a very gifted athlete with self esteem issues that wears his education on his sleeve as though it is a hash-mark of intelligence. Rodger Goodell holds a BS in Economics and is a buffoon. Just for ****z and grins the following are also attended Stanford are not considered intelligent. Reese Witherspoon Fred Savage Rachel Maddow Ted Danson Mitt Romney This idiot: |
Re: Payton, Sherman exchange compliments
We are all playing into Sherman's hands, do you not realize. His rant was not genuine, he obviously snatched the media's attention by calling out a good receiver and shouting next to poor Erin. Why would he do this you might ask? Cause it goin to get da man paid! Popularity=Big bucks
