Currently our top LB's next year are...

Galette (stud)
Butler (a back-up in Dallas)
Hawthorne (a back-up in Seattle)
Lofton (a 4-3 MLB who struggles in coverage)

And the rest...
Reddick (has potential)
Johnson (has potential)
Kyle Know (practice squad pickup)

Herring - UFA
Vilma - UFA
Humber - UFA
Haralson - UFA

I think I'd rank LB ahead of CB

+1 Danno. The biggest question mark for me will be the play of Victor Butler. I watched a lot of Cowgirl football when he was here in Dallas and quite frankly he never stood out in my mind.

Or Vilma. Too bad the knee didn't hold up.

I think Vilma is done. He should retire.

Seattle is setting the standards now.

This position is what separated our D from the Seahawks, 49ers and Panthers. Another CB is needed but we need to get faster at this spot

The good thing about this draft is that we could get an ILB like Yawin Smallwood or Christian Jones in the 2nd round and then an OLB like Adrian Hubbard in the 3rd (his draft stock isn't very high after an underwhelming season.) So we can be free to take the best player available in the 1st round while still stocking up on quality LB's in subsequent rounds.

What if those players are gone when we pick?

Kind of a hypothetical point illustrating that there's good LB depth in the upcoming draft that could benefit us.

FA Aurthor Moats from Buffalo and Andrew Jackson in the 5th. Moats looks like he could be ready to have a breakout year and plays inside and out and Jackson patterns his play after Ray Lewis and his presents is felt on the field, both are affordable and brings instant depth at the worst..
