Surprised no mention of it here on the board?

Had a mini-party at my house tonight, watching a replay of the game with a good friend of mine who just happened to be in town and is the most die-hard Saints fan I know. (besides myself ;)) Knew what would happen but it was still a great time.

we got chicken wings, my wife made homemade pizza and cookies shaped like Fleur-de-lis, we all wore our jerseys. Cheered and high-fived, watched the halftime show, post-game, commercials, everything. It was awesome. My son is 2 1/2 and didn't know it wasn't a real game, all he knows is "GO SAINTS" so it was fun watching him get excited and cheer. Great fun.

I remeber sitting thinking Manning was going to tie it up then the best interception of any Saint's fan life had happened.
I wish I had been back home when I was watching the game instead of being in Redskin country.

Same here... Watched the game in an establishment on Bourbon St. It was quite a memorable scene on Bourbon after the interception.

Baring any major injuries this upcoming season, I expect the black and gold to get back to the SB.

After an Ice Storm knocked out our power, had to drive 10 miles to a sandwich shop to watch the game.

Every year my wife and I have a Super Bowl party. Not that year though. We stayed home with an another couple from Louisiana and watched. I didn't want any distractions. I wanted to watch every single play, every replay, and hear every word of the commentary. And I didn't want to hear some snot nosed neighbor kid tell me how great Peyton Manning was or how the Colts got hosed outta some call. I'm very glad I watched it that way.

I watched it alone- my wife was home but isn't a fan. She was doing dishes and getting updates. She walked in to me standing on the coffee table saying oh my god, oh my god.
She didn't know if it was good or bad and then saw the Saints celebrating.
Next my phones blew up- bunch of friends and relatives calling to congratulate me after ragging on me for 40 years.
sigh

My wife and I stayed home too and watched it together. When Porter made that interception, I jumped up and started hollering. My wife sat there silent, unsure if what just happened was real, or would be called back. When time ran out, my daughter and I ran outside and set off about 10 morter shells and a looong roll of firecrackers. I had unofficial permission from the policeman that lives across the street. LOL
