Saints won’t re-sign Kenyon Coleman
INDIANAPOLIS — The Saints will not re-sign unrestricted free agent Kenyon Coleman, The Advocate has confirmed via a league source.
Coleman, who joined the NFL in 2002, signed with the Saints last year and was going to fight to start for New Orleans at left defensive end. But Coleman tore a pectoral muscle during a training camp practice and landed on season-ending injured reserve, and he was essentially replaced by Akiem Hicks. Coleman had 15 combined tackles and a forced fumble in seven games with Dallas in 2012. He came to the Saints after defensive coordinator Rob Ryan arrived in New Orleans. Coleman played under Ryan in Dallas and in Cleveland in 2009 and 2010. He earned a base salary of $940,000. Saints won’t re-sign Kenyon Coleman | Black and Gold |

Re: Saints won’t re-sign Kenyon Coleman
Wow. No Thomson. No Coleman. No Greer. No Smith. No Vilma. Definitely a defensive draft.
