A preview of what I'm praying that meeting sounds like.....

Loomis.... First of all Pierre I want to thank you for everything that you are doing and have done to keep this team competitive. You are our rock, I hope you know that. However, to be honest you didn't have your best season last season...... to be honest none of the backs did. I want you to finish your career as a Saint. In order to do that we are gonna need a couple of things..... 1 is obvious, and one not so much.... We need you to restructure..... That one I would hope is a given.... The second thing is we are moving on from Mark Ingram to a back who we think will be the future rock of our franchise. My sincere hope is that you do for " Jeremy Hill" what Duece Mcallister did for you when you arrived into the league......

stupid move if we do. restructure talk i hope. we do not have a third down back on the roster who can do what he does

Thomas,Ingram,Robinson combined Cap hit- $5.755ml
Darren Sproles Cap hit-$4.25ml,$750k dead money

As much as i rate him there is only one player i would be looking at cutting.
You can pick up a return guy late in the draft with the depth at WR/RB/CB

Sproles' legs are dead and sure as hell aren't worth 4.25M. Restructure/extend Thomas and trade Sproles when we can get something for him. We won't get a 7th for him if he's on our roster next season.

Dead? I would say that he is just a step slower due to AGE and battling the injury bug. You can't maintain that quickness forever.

Sproles is still a great RB. Keep him. He scares defenses. Reading this board lately sounds like we are an MLB team starting for scratch again.
