My girls are 8 and 5. At 43 my lessons are only beginning.

Between Chucky and Mickey I'm developing a really deep seeded dislike for rodents over 4' tall.

Pierre Thomas ? now that would be a loss that scares me. as drew goes so do the saints. blitz pick up is so major in todays pass happy NFL. sproils goes then what we got stones for hands out of the backfield? thats if drew is upright. no back on the roster can do what PT does.

well i agree with statement. they can have all the runnung downs but when Drew drops back to pass it is PT you want back there.

neither Ingram or Kirbey has shown the blocking or receiving skill needed to replace PT. PT is one of the best RB at picking up the blitz in the nfl. he has an uncoachable ability to read and diagnosis blitzes so quickly it can not go under sold.

If PT is cut/traded there is no replacement on the team.

Yes it will, it also makes Brees/Paton commit to the run. Two favorite dumps will be gone.

I do not see anyone offering anything past a 6th for either Thomas or Sproles.Teams know we are up against the cap will will probably have to cut them if we cannot trade

I say keep Sproles. Just rework his contract a little, along with Colston, trade Thomas (Colts, Rams, Jets) a lot of teams need an every down back. He's worth a 2nd or 3rd.

Sproles has lost a step, isn't the same since his concussions, Pierre is long in the tooth.... being feature back in the 25th ranked rushing, legendarily pass happy offense, is not going to garner much interest or turn a lot of heads, folks. Maybe Sproles because he is a name, but I don't think the Saints will get much for either of them, if they get any offers at all. We all love him here in NO, but out there in the real world, nobody really knows who Pierre Thomas is. He is not a "name." Without the black and gold goggles on, I don't see any other team giving up a lot to get him.
