If they're stupid enough to offer him more, plus give up 2 first round picks. We're smart enough to take them and run. No way is Graham worth 2 first round picks :rolleyes:

Let them trade all their draft picks and sure, they can have him! I'll laugh watching the falcons win 7 games or less the next 4 seasons!

I kind of wish they would. With those picks plus an extra 7 million in cap room, Loomis and Payton could have a lot of fun. We'd have more depth on offense than we've had since probably 2009. and it would hurt the Falcons by taking away their picks, and hurt their salary cap since they already have Ryan/Roddy/Julio on monster deals.

Now I wouldn't be against seeing Graham sign elsewhere and get two first rounders and some cap space but not to the falcons. Their receivers are already hard to cover then throw Graham in the mix. Not good. Plus have to face them twice a year.

I'd rated see Graham and the saints work out a long term deal, something similar to what we gave Byrd. High signing bonus and backloaded contract while giving him the money he wants. Byrd's average salary comes out to be about 9mil so we can give Graham that 10 or so he wants while also saving cap space now. Save us about 3-4 mil in space.

If there was any truth to that the Falcons will not be putting a offer sheet till Graham till May.
Why give up a top 10 pick when you can wait till after the draft anf give up nothing this year

4 first round picks in two years? wheeling and dealing can keep multi picks coming in for years to come

with the rule changes his knees will not hold up long any ways. hit him low and flip him is what defenders do to him know. it is just a matter of time. he is already starting to show wear and tear. i am counting on him missing at least two games next year. every year after that that number will increase. same thing happened to colston.

players of his height have a limited shelf life because of the rules put in place.

only interesting aspect is that a team could sign JG after the draft, pushing the #1's back a year, thereby really screwing the Saints

I am totally for this! It would be like sending a toy away after taking the batteries out. Jimmy's stats are inflated due to a HOF quaterback and a coach who creates mismatches. No way he would have a good season with those crayon eaters. :bng:
