Because as we learned from the Washington RG3 trade..Nothing is guaranteed!!You can think you're going to contend every year but all it takes is one bad injury and you go from contender to top 5 picking

I can't imagine any player worth 2 first round draft picks. That is why no one has made the move. A young franchise QB maybe and I had better have a team stocked with talent on only missing a QB.

2 First round pics for a TE? NO way.

I don't get this "the way he disappears during games nonsense" First of all when he started to get "shut down" he was injured, B Talib did shut him down but Talib shuts a lot of good receivers down that are 100% healthy, and 3 Seattle shut him down, but who the hell didn't Seattle shut down they were able to shut down the best QB in the history of the game? Don't say Arizona because they flat out got lucky.
All receivers have games where they don't produce.

All that aside he needs to stay off twitter and get the stupid notion he deserves top receiver pay out of his head.

They are probably waiting until after the draft so they won't have to give up this year's draft pick being that this draft is such a deep draft. If someone is going to buckle down and pay him and give up the picks it will be after the draft.

as long as he stays at TE money we are ok, The cap moves to get the additional money for a WR tag i fear will cause us to more harm than good. not that the moves to get the cap in line with him getting the TE aint going hurt i fear they will but we should be fine

Here's an idea, we get all 32 1st round draft picks for him. I mean damn, this convo is gettin salty. Im over it either way. I speak for a lot of us when I say the cheese is old and moldy. Whats gonna happen is gonna happen and that's it.

Jimmy Graham is not the entire New Orleans Saints football team. He is a vital piece but not an overall decider of how our season dictates.

I want to keep the guy trust me, but all the bs is pilling up and its time to flush the damn toilet.

IMO, he isn't all that vital.

It is good to have a player of his ability on the team, but the money it is going to take to re-sign him would be better spent on the defense and special teams.

Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, and Adrian Peterson are all worth 2 first round picks. Jimmy Graham isn't, but some teams get desperate and force moves.

I love graham he even rt my kids pic on twitter, to be honest i thought him bashing us for getting rid of players i know was his friends but how does he not know it was for him... Then it wasent for him it was for byrd.. Which i love, but im 50/50 on this graham thing.. I just wish it would end

Two firsts fir Rodgers ir Luck would be a steal for a team just missing a QB. You think the Bengals wouldn't becone contenders with Rodgers instead of Dalton or even the Browns. Jordan Cameron, Josh Gordon draft the best WR with there second pick ib the first, the best guard with the 2nd rounder and a new OLB and RB with the next few. They would walk the AFC North and be a contender for the AFC

Two first round draft picks for a player is a conundrum. If he is that valuable you aren't letting him get shopped.

It is an option that only a Brees, Brady, Manning in their prime would garner.

95% of Saints fans wouldn't give Jimmy Graham 12m/ year, but they somehow rationalize another team giving up 12m/year plus 2 first round draft picks! No offense intended but that is funny...... Plucking hilarious.

Megatron... Peterson.... Luck..... Graham..... None of them are worth two FRDPs. Those are so coveted you only give them up for a player that can win you a SB. A phenom QB.
