Saints re-sign Joe Morgan

I think this means we aren't going to resign Meachem. Morgan can easily take Meach's place if he remains healthy.

I think this means that we choose him over Sidney Rice. I like it.

I hope. With so many WRs in this draft a lot of teams like Carolina for one are dropping their starting receivers hoping to get youth in the draft. At the moment Carolina has 0 starting WRs. There may be a ton of WR picks in the draft right of the bat leaving tons of talent at other positions that would normally not be there. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Loomis somehow found the money to pick up a decent WR in FA. WRs usually don't come out their first year just balling, they take time to develop. This is one reason I don't see Carolina doing squat this year.
