New Orleans Saints veteran free agent center Brian de la Puente is visiting the Washington Redskins, according to a league source.
The Redskins recently cut center Will Montgomery. Other teams that remain strong possibilities for de la Puente include the New Orleans Saints, the Denver Broncos, the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. The 28-year-old is a former Cal standout who has started every game for the past two seasons. He has started 44 of 48 career games. He has previous stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers.
