If his name was a name not on the Saints roster and he was any other 26yo black man, there wouldn't have been any special circumstances (blunder).

Okay, what is a diversion program? And it said if he doesn't complete it he could face the charges again.

Is this a case of, you got a DUI, you agree to counseling, and they reduce the charges? I've heard of that quite a few times.

I still fail miserably to see where you are going?

1. I specifically said not on the Saints roster. EG A late 20s black man working for Burger King passed out in his 10 year old Toyota Carolla.

2. McCray is an entirely different situation. He was arrested because he refused the breathalyzer (automatic 1 year license suspension), had no registration, speeding, and careless operation of a vehicle.

Morgan slept on the side of the road and didn't refuse the breathalyzer.

Cooperation goes a long way.

Either way, the failure of the judicial system means he has not been convicted of his first offense and if he gets another in 2 months it won't be his second....

People that can not afford an expensive lawyer thus using the public defender aren't afforded such a pass normally.
