To be fair, you're not the comparing the same things.

If I had a friend that was convicted in a gang shooting and I supported him, my boss would probably think I was being honorable.

BUT...
if I started putting my picture on the internet flashing gang signs where my customers and colleagues could see them.

AND then the police called to let him know that a gang murder happened on my property and that some of my personal papers had been found there.

And I was being questioned about the murder

AND if I flashed gang signs at someone at work...

...I know I wouldn't work there for long and I probably wouldn't be welcomed too many places in the industry after that.

Honestly I could care less if he has any affiliation with any gangs. I know plenty of people who do dumb **** and it doesn't affect me in any way... at least any more. What's concerning is this...

If I'm going to pay anyone a ton of money, I'm not looking for this type of baggage to go along with it. His release was strictly financial. The excuse for his release was the angle the media decided to run with. What really makes for a better story?

2. He's a diva, me first type of individual.
3. Chip doesn't like him.
4. He was scheduled to make $10 million+.
5. His associations with less than upstanding, accused criminals is fact.

I'm talking about the excuses that's being put out..Like alleged gang ties is a reason to cut someone when the coach made his name recruiting kids with alleged gang ties.It's wrong for a team to use the media to try and destroy his value because he wouldn't take a pay cut.The Eagles are a use em and throw em away organization. I just find it stupid when people say race has no ties to it...Cooper was at a concert with friends who heard him use that word so that means they condone it...so how can you dissect one players friends and background and not the other? Did NJ.com look into Cooper..No...Because alleged gang ties are more dangerous than a public figure whose a known racist.
