Archie. No contest. Singlehandedly won 8 games in 8-8 season on a team with abysmal talent. Talent that gets cut from pee-wee football.
There's a reason only 1 number isn't used. 8 for great. |

Bobby Hebert.... Just ask him.

I'm pretty sure even Bobby would concede that Drew Brees is the best Saint of all time.

Brees would say Archie. And Archie would say Brees. Both of them are classy guys.

Arch Mannig gets a pass and has sentimental feelings from Saints's fans.
He was not the best Saints' player nor one of the best in the NFL. He was simply an ok player. Yes, when he was on the team during the coc'head years. Many Saints were who weren't the coc'heads were simply ok. Some had big talent and did not use it too much . I will not name them because some are dead. Yes, a qb makes a team and team makes a qb too. Brees had everything clicking for him in right time, coaching staff, players. Yes, Brees is, was that good and left the biggest impact on the Saints. A new qb coming in after Brees will have a hard act to follow. It will be , for us Saints' fans, like Steve Young going after Montana for SF49'ers. Best Saints 'player...I would pick Brees. |

"Earl Campbell - Tennessee Titans". What a joke - he was never a Titan. Yeah I know... The Oilers became the Titans but c"mon - get it right
