How many Championships did those TD's and Records produce? |

I'm just making a point. How does 52 TD's prove JZR's one of the best QB's LSU has had?
No. Number of Championships doesn't mean your better. But what did JR produce at LSU? Hype jumped on him and that all. Ask Drew or any athlete, what he/she would rather have; Championships or Records? |

And yeah, some people will trade stats for rings. But that doesn't change the real point. Randy Moss is the 2nd best receiver of all time with a ring or not. Marino is top 5 with a ring or not. Charles Barkley is one of the top 10 players in history ring or not. |
Re: Lee, Beckham, Landry among WR options
Let me know when LSU erects a Jamarcus Russell Statue on campus. I'll meet you down there and eat roasted crow until you say stop.
|
Re: Lee, Beckham, Landry among WR options
We were running a pass happy down the field attack when Jamarcus Russell was quarterback. Jimbo Fisher liked to throw the ball... a lot. Zach ran a pro style run heavy offense prior to Cameron and now, still runs a pro style smash mouth offense that's more balanced.
Apples and oranges. I wouldn't sit on those 52 touchdowns as my main shtick. |

Someone is going to fall to us. And then Wham......we've got the best WR in history.

Re: Lee, Beckham, Landry among WR options
I'm proud of the fact that I saw Jabustus Russell's NFL failure a mile away.
It was obvious to anyone who saw those floaty passes and certainly to anyone who heard him speak, or try to speak. Sometimes, its not a crapshoot. |
Re: Lee, Beckham, Landry among WR options
Beckham won't be here. If he is I will be shocked and it would be a no brainer to take him. I don't want Landry. I don't think he will make a big splash in the NFL.
|
Re: Lee, Beckham, Landry among WR options
I do want Landry.
I think he would become a solid possession receiver. I dont think he would be likely to make the big splash plays but we need a could pair of hand to make the catches across the middle on third doens like Lance did. |
