2014 NFL Schedule: Games To Circle On the Calendar

Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints

There are always fireworks in the air when Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees are on the same field. The Green Bay Packers remain the offensive powerhouse they always are and must pay a visit to the Super Dome, marking the first time Brees and the New Orleans Saints get this matchup on their turf in the last five seasons. With some talent getting added to the defense, expectations are high for this team. Beating the Packers for the first time since 2008, coincidentally the last time they met in New Orleans would qualify as a stepping stone. Either way, the explosive offenses and that fast track turf should make for a fun game.

I think our defense and the newly improved secondary will make for a long day for Mr. Daable Check!

And GB defense doesn't scare me at all. Especially that secondary.

That awful Packers defense is gonna get carved up. Plus, that game will most likely be the night game on Sunday or Monday and we don't lose at home on prime time tv.

We didn't lose a home game in 2011 or 2013, I discount 2012 since Payton was suspended :bng:

Packers aren't what they used to be, we're well ahead of them right now and we have a defense much better than the past. But that should be a game to look forward to.

I though it was mandated that Chi and GB were always away games

Hey, mark your calendar and prepare the black and gold carpet at Louie Armstrong for the brave Saints fan deplaning after a tenuous flight with freaking cheeseheads out of Milwaukee General Mitchell International!

The amazing and controversial MaggieMay will be holding court (after escaping that flight with her life) in the MB Dome.

I just need the date to schedule vacation.

Does anyone else find NFL's release of the schedule in April hurt the scheduling of vacations in the work place?

I always schedule Thanksgiving week off which could provide me a lottery of awesome games but I need to wait until April to make plans and sneak in those other games if needed.

I am a health American Female with a simple goal to view a NFL game in every NFL venue, preferably the Saints but I will consider other teams because I love NFL football.

The best year (because it made the hubby happy) was flying in for Saints at home v. Seahawks, turkey diner at Margaritaville, Saints at Cowboys on Marriott's LG screen in lobby and a drive to Atlanta for Packers at Falcons.

Now if that damn schedule would be released earlier - I would be happier and my boss could plan around my vacation needs.

DAMN - release the schedule NOW!

I need me some Louisiana time! Next visit will include McHenry Island!

Idk. They made it to the playoffs with their franchise QB hurt for near half the year. Could you say the same for us last year?

Ted Lewis: It’s all about timing whenever we learn the Saints’ schedule

"Another hint dropped by Chan-Smith, who professes to be just guessing: The Saints could be the Thanksgiving Day opponent for Dallas, as they were in 2010."

"...Katz’s task is complicated by the networks fighting over the top games. And those don’t always work out..."

Would you happen to have a Who Dat sister who's single? You're givin' me a real good idea as to what my dream woman's like.

Try to stay away from the grilling section on that plane ride down BTW.

Rarely is that game a marquee matchup, and I am not sure adding the Saints helps the network.
With the Saints having potentially more than there share of prime time game, I don't know that scheduling them on T-giving is a good idea.
Packers, 49ers, Falcons, Steelers are all better games for national audiences

Right now, I just have the draft daze, the first game of the season and the first ten plays both O and D of the first preseason game circled.
