Lions shopping Suh
Hate him as an opponent would literally make me tear with Joy to see he and Jordan and Hicks
You never know how 1st rounders are going to turn out ... If gladly give up ours for him . We could use a corner , but exceptional pressure makes a 5th rounder the best corner In all of football why not ? Bunkleys time is nearing an end with the saints |
Re: Lions shopping Suh
wonder what the price is? i would take him in a heart beat. headaches and all. talk about the missing link in our pass rush.....day dreaming of him added to our DT rotation
|
Re: Lions shopping Suh
I could only imagine the size microscope our defense would be under with Suh on it... We'd get called for everything and opponents would always have the benefit

Not Neaux, but **** Neaux....

Re: Lions shopping Suh
He averages 12.7m/year and is a free agent in 2015.

I don't like the guy. Hope he goes to the AFC.

Re: Lions shopping Suh
Everything else aside...and there is plenty of that...He would cost too much.

Re: Lions shopping Suh
I wouldn't want him even at $8ml. I dont want players that choose to miss voluntary workouts. The next step is missing camp days and paying fines etc. Its a distraction and doesn't help team morale. Id rather have team players that want to be around the other players and facility.

Re: Lions shopping Suh
I'd bet the texans are going to trade for him ( next years 1st ) and draft manziel anyway ... He aside watt would be the most dominant front of all time , I care what nobody says about that
|
Re: Lions shopping Suh
I'd love to have him but we couldn't afford him, Remember we will have to pay Jordan soon too.
|
Re: Lions shopping Suh
The guy is a douchenozzle. I agree he's good, but I'd rather not sign players who routinely get fined for dick stomping people and being ignorant. No thanks. Too expensive and too much of a distraction.
And before everyone jumps my case...yes I agree he's damn good. But I don't have any respect for him. |

When they call him "overrated", they are 100% correct ... Suh is a myth, a brand, a "legend-in-his-own-mind" type of player. He's not happy in Detroit, never has been and will not play to his potential until he leaves the Lions. Until then, he's just marking time, playing the system & making as much money as he can ... bet. I called him out on this his 2nd year in the NFL and the Lion slappies 'bout had a fit, ... you should see 'em now all having to fall in line and begrudgingly agree with me, it's priceless,. I'm sure he'll eventually move on & become the star people try to hype him up to be, but he's really just a high-maintenance, prima-donna biotch in the honolulu blue & silver that basically goes out there every Sunday and excels at little more than gap control, IMO, :D. I'm honestly tired of the whole situation/drama with the guy,. |

I can understand why fans are infatuated with him, but upon further review, he's just an average defensive tackle with an extraordinary image/persona/contract, none of which he backs up with his play on the field, <shrug>. It is what it is ... the prosecution rests,. |
Re: Lions shopping Suh
Yea so there's this John Jenkins guy, that's a 350+ pound behemoth, that cost pennies on the dollar, and looks to be pretty damn good. We should go get him.
Oh wait... |

"IF" Suh was to somehow become a Saint...
Roger Goodell's @ss would tighten so much he'd sh*t diamonds. |
Re: Lions shopping Suh
I would rather put money in CBs or WRs not him. John Jenkins looks like he will be solid and with Jordan and Hicks all he has to do is plug gaps. He's a big boy and his second year in the NFL will show he is the right guy for the right price.

Re: Lions shopping Suh
Suh is a terrific player but the last thing we would need is him stamping on somebody (which he's already done like 3 times) and raising all the bounty gate questions once again

Re: Lions shopping Suh
I don't know that we'd have to worry about that b********* thing. He seems pretty indiscriminate as to who he stomps on.

Only saw a couple of Detroit games, but He was owned by the OL in both games I watched.

I just think there'd be more interest in signing him by the other NFL teams if he was all that he was cracked up/reputed to be ... but he's not, :). |
