lets see 5'10" ran a 40 in 4.68 ? none of his numbers were great. the kid can ball and the rest is history

Well Byrd is considered by many to be the best free safety in the league, so I would assume he can do more than just force turnovers.

But I mean, hell, even if Byrd is a below average tackler, he is still an upgrade over Jenkins. Jenkins couldn't tackle OR force turnovers.

Ballhawk to the max. He goes where the football goes. Finally, a true centerfield-type of free safety! He breaks up the big play instead of chasing a receiver 75+ yards to make a play.
