Saints to Draft Johnny Football?

Our good friend Corey Chavous of DraftNasty.com returned to PFT Live on Thursday for more pre-draft chatter, and he gave us something to chatter about with dropped jaw in his first-round mock draft.

In his Draft Nasty 2014 NFL Draft Manual, Chavous has the Saints taking quarterback Johnny Manziel with the 27th pick in the draft.

It’s a shock, and it’s highly unlikely to happen. But it’s fun to talk about and think about what could happen when the selections start to fly. Even if we talk and think about things that may never happen.

One thing we know about football is that unexpected things will happen.

I'm not to sure about that. Well what the heck. Sitting behind Drew for the next 5 years maybe he will grow a few inches.

Not going to happen. He won't be available at 27 unless he gets caught robbing a liquor store between now and Draft day. I hope the Raiders take him so I can watch him get beat to death every Sunday.

I think he has more heart and desire than Marijuanavich, but anyone that goes to the Raiders is doomed to fail.

2. Manziel at the Saints. God I would hope not. Too much hype on an unknown. Too much of a immature guy , as most players like him are, and he would demand to be traded the following year putting Saints at low draft and losing a lot of money on him. Bad press from him.
3-Saints need to get a new qb, just the right one to season to follow. Brees won't be here forever.
