I would be extremely disappointed if they took martin in the first round. I would hope they plan on trading out of the first round with the Jags, raiders or even farther back which has been my hope all along and take martin in the second round at the earliest. I just don't for see a player at 27that will be of value. Id rather trade out of round 1 and either get a 1st next year or a early 2nd and 4th this year from the Jags or raiders

I could see taking him in the second or third, but I seriously doubt in the first...

I'm fairly confident that there'll be a CB, WR or LB who drops down the board for some reason and will be a great value pick at 27.

O gosh... Sooooo i was knockin marquise lee a bit as our first round selection, but if we went this route i would just have to turn off the tv and breathe a bit. Extremely unwise and waste of a first. Now id be totally fine and supportive if we grabbed him in the 2nd or 3rd.

Back to marquise...i could live with the pick based on '12 tape but id still prefer other wr's or to wait til the 2nd. Has some solid talent tho...

I really do not think we draft one of the top 3 Centres in the draft.
I think if the front office was that concerned then either a vet. free agent would have been brought in or DLP would have been kept on.
I think they draft Stork(2 meetings with Saints so far) or a similar 4/6th round Centre and go with them a Lelito/Rookie comepition during camp,or bring Goodwin back for a year to compete after the draft.If one of the top Centres fall to the very end of the 4th they may trade up as the value is there but i dont think its a top 3 round pick

We don't need a top or 1st round Center. It's a waste of value in the 1st and possibly 2nd round.

I'd burn a 2nd on him, but no way I burn a 1st on a Center unless they have Nick Mangold talent.

I suspect we'll make a move to get him. Our 2nd is a bit too early but he'll be gone by the time we pick in the 3rd.

I agree I just feel like we would be able to get just as good of a player at 35-40 as we could at 27 and pick up a extra pick or 2. I think we should take advantage of those Qb starving teams that possible will pass on qb in round 1. Maybe I shouldn't have used the words of Value

I have been a big SC fan for years and have seen a lot of Lee & Martin. Lee has major talent, but he is a bit soft. I got tired of him limping off every third play. He reminds me a lot of Harvin.

I'd really like to see us just trade back and get another second and third. BPA is always nice, but this year we are going to have 2 draft picks on the field quite a bit.

I am also not sold on Lee but I think if he's there we take him and he could probably shine catching balls from Brees.
