Yep, and I'll tell ya what I am looking at him in his interview and the dude might be 5'10 but he is stout. Kid is not small at all. Steve Smith-ish... damn anything close to Smith's career would be unreal.

Morgan, Kenny, Cooks, Graham, and old reliable Colston...

Throw in Meach or Toon..

In the First Round, Saints Pick Wide Reciever Brandin Cooks

This:

"The fastest wide receiver in this year's class, Cooks set a Pac-12 record with 1,730 receiving yards on 128 receptions en route to winning the Biletnikoff Award last season. He generated more plays of 20+ yards than any skill-position player in college football."

There are soooo many ways to love this pick.

Missing Sproles? Problem solved.

Missing Meachem/Henderson speed, worried that our speedy Joe Morgan can't stay healthy? Problem solved

Have a need for speed? How about this, Cooks/Morgan/Stills all 4.3ish guys on the field at once.... Think about it.

Durability? Done

Big play ability? Got it

Seattle containing our receivers? Solved, he possesses elite start/stop ability.

Need a punt returner? Done

If you got a problem, yo he'll solve it.

Cooks Cooks baby

See how happy I am?

I didn't spend 2 months falling in love with a player that wasn't picked.

When it comes to the Saints, I'm not a go out and find love kind of guy, I prefer to let Loomis and Sean Payton arrange my marriages :).

I've never been upset over a draft pick.

Everyone remembers how much Reggie was coveted and considered a sure thing when we picked him right? This pick isn't a sure thing either. I would be happy to eat crow and be proven wrong, but this was a reach.

Huge difference. It would have been a reach if Cooks was a RB. But he's a dynamite WR.

I understand he is a RB but Bush also caught more passes than Boldin. There was little question about Bush's ability as a play maker, returner or as a RB which is why he went so high, was compared with Mario and we did not entertain any offers to trade down so we could pick him #2. I think everyone would agree that he did not pan out as expected.
