Re: Grade Our Draft!
Fourth in defense even with all of our injuries is what I'm sayin'! We were fine especially with our FA pickups. We could be so much better than last year with a little help for the offensive side. My draft order was:
WR OL Trade away OL WR OL K But hell, we needed somebody in this thread to throw a fit. Everyone else was being way too calm. It wouldn't have been Black and Gold. com without that. Oh yeah, and now I have to throw out some stats and tell all of you how uninformed you all are or something insulting just to round it out. Ummm, don't really have any stats and my weekend was way too good overall to pick any fights so I guess I'll call it good, duct tape the teeth marks on my couch and say, "Who dat?" Now when do the training camp debates start? |
Re: Grade Our Draft!
I'm not a fan of this draft. There is not one pick that really gets me excited. I don't see how we became any more physical team in any way.I'm kinda Tired of the finesse type team. I rather we Have a bunch of mean and nasty slobber knockers out there.
And another thing which isn't draft related but also think is important going forward. Sean and company have to do something with the playbook it really needs a few new wrinkles. The Screen, Run, Go Deep or The Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy play calling is getting pretty predictable. |

Re: Grade Our Draft!
I was a bit shocked at the picks in rounds 4-6 but people with a better pedigree than me are paid to make the picks and if they dont get it right they will pay with there jobs long term.
Last year FA and draft was filling a few holes and a couple of prospect picks in Stills and Armstead and then improve the defense. This year another offense tool in round 1 (a much needed one too) then it looks like trying to improve special teams with players thst hopefully can help with the LB core. Im surprised more wase done in the o-line but they will have had a plan in mind if the players weren't there. |

If you've noticed I haven't bought new jerseys yet lol. I am just not prepared to yell at paint in tubes, is rather wait until the canvas has been painted. There are articles literally saying out roster and starting lineup are set! Well sh1t Jerry, all we need are 53 at camp then. Sean does a lot with UDFA's, Loomis states that before the draft. Is it worth a 7 day depression to get so upset about something entirely out of your control? Seriously, members are attacking other members telling them what they "can't come here and say"...
