Re: Patrick Robinson: A Chance To Start Fresh
With the exception of Victor Butler, now that we failed to select an impact olb, there's no one I want to see improve more than this guy...
Saints coaching and Robinson haven't found the key to unlock that potential and when it seemed he was on the cusp of validating his selection - snap... Robinson has to be more physical at the LOS, especially in his jams - maybe the Bailey signing can help with same... We may not be able to resign him with a breakout season, but I'll take what we can get and if that scenario plays out, I'll take the third round compensatory pick if it plays out that way... |

Will see you on the field. Glad your back.

Re: Patrick Robinson: A Chance To Start Fresh
Really a make or break year for him, I'd give him a pass on 2012 just like I would our whole defense because it was unorganised chaos.
Its pretty tough when you've had 3 different DC's in 4 years, but what I really need to see from P-rob is some form of consistency. Still I believe in what Rob Ryan has done because you can't argue with last years results on D, with a better safety core on the back end and veterans at the position to help him, I wouldn't be suprised if P-rob has a pretty good year. |
Re: Patrick Robinson: A Chance To Start Fresh
Robinson and Ingram are both fighting to stay with this team. both are FA next year.
