My official guess is that Benson fires the entire staff January 3rd.

Wait too long and upstart assistants will start taking jobs elsewhere. Weiss to Cleveland, Romeo to Miami or San Fran.

We better act soon or we\'ll be stuck with some no-name GM, and coach, kinda like Meuller and Haslett.

yeah...we had better start acting now...with the recent talk about gibbs quitting after this year(health reasons)..washington always goes very aggresivelly after who they want...and there\'s too much at stake right now to keep that wait and see attitude..

Halftime of the Carolina game in the Dome. Carolina scores 10 points on their two opening possessions and then AB, while scrambling, actually stops, turns around, bends over, and tries to long snap a pass that gets picked off and run back for a TD. The bagheads boo as the Saints go into halftime down 24-7. Benson fires JH at the half and coaches the team himself the second half. The Saints come back to win 31-27 off of a Michael Lewis return for a TD, two Delhomme INTs and some bruising running by Deuce. After the game Benson says he\'s always been a hands-on manager and thinks maybe he\'ll just coach the team himself from now on. Certain member of this board who will remain nameless reappear from their Who-Tang induced comas to bash Delhomme and pronounce that with Benson at the helm they expect the Saints to be 13-3 next season. Just look at what he did in one half!
