So I was enjoyin the old stuff from the Smack Talk forum..and came across this from March 12, 2006:
http://blackandgold.com/showthread.php?t=11739 With the OP quoted as saying: --how great would it be if we get brees, and load up on defense in the draft. i think this will be our best season in the last 7 years if everything goes that way.-- While I'm not sure that Roman Harper, Rob Ninkovich, and Josh Lay can be defined as "loading up on defense", I'd still say this guy's post.....which apparently was seen as so far-fetched that it was moved to Smack Talk, turned out to be spot on. Best season in the last 7 years? Try best season (up to that point  )in 4 decades!!
