Good read, thanks for the post. I can't wait for Cooks to hit camp, that's really gonna make things interesting.

I'm still holding out hope for this kid, but with Cooks, Graham, Stills, Colston, that's all u need. It's on on offense no matter what. I'm hoping Cooks opens things up so much that the Saints have a 1000 yd rusher this yr, or even a 1200 yd guy. I'm thinking Robinson for 1200+.

He is the future of the Saints run game. I just hope Coach Sean listens to his mentor about him.

Like I said in the Joe Morgan thread... It pisses me off thinking about Toon not capitalizing on his opportunity. He has perfect size and speed but he just needs to stop with the mental lapses and catch those passes! I think when the light finally comes on for this guy he could be tremendous.

Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. The Jets may give him a shot after he's cut.

All of a sudden we've got some speedy receivers. Our boys coming off IR might give us some really good depth. Oh yes, we are going to go long all day.

Toon looked bad in 1 game. The coaches have stated they expect great things from him and he's looked great in camp so far.

WR's arguably take longer to develop than any other position in the NFL.

Why all the Toon hate?

Re: Nick Toon

It's not hate, just that he hasn't shown anything. It's not like the Saints have been loaded at WR either. I wish him great success, I'm just not holding my breath. This is sink or swim time for Toon, it's now or never. With his size it would be great to see him step up.

A lot of good WRs don't show anything their first couple years

If he's healthy he'll contribute really well.

True and a lot of high potential WRs never develop, they just fade away. Toon has shown no indication which he will be. So far he's been nothing more than a camp body. It's time for him to produce or move on, same with Morgan.
