Get to know safety Kenny Vaccaro
 

New Orleans Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro had his rookie season cut short by an injury, but the Texas alum is ready to put last season behind him and focus on helping the Saints defense force more turnovers.

Vaccaro took the time to answer a few questions about this upcoming season and about himself after the Saints final minicamp practice.

Q. What do you think of some of the young DBs the front office brought in like Stanley Jean-Baptiste?

A. (Jean-Baptiste) is a dude that listens. Real quiet dude, doesn't say much. You can tell he wants to learn and he wants to be a part of the boys so he's moving along well.

Vinnie, he's a coach's son. He's already got his feet settled in... Kind of talks to everybody, great personality, hard working and smart guy too.

Q. There's a lot of new faces in the locker room how's that been?

A. We're just all trying to mesh together. At the end of the day, we all have one goal. There's a lot of new faces and a lot of guys added to the team that are going to help us get there.

Q. How are you liking New Orleans?

A. This is a great city -- a great fan base and I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.

Good to see him healthy and playing at full speed already

I think we really hit the jackpot drafting this guy, our secondary is going to be sick!

Byrd and Vaccaro will be the number one tandem in the NFL. Having Lewis and Bailey will open up the opportunities for turnovers.
