Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons - NFL.com
WTF?!? Their needs to be orientation for Saints coming and going that if you want to have Saints fans behind you for life - you don't sign, or even entertain the thought of signing with the Failclowns... |
Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
Update: Falcons are not going to sign Jonathan Vilma | Atlanta Falcons blog
Still, no gumbeaux for you Jon Vilma for two years!!! You been a berry bad man these last 24 hours... |
Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
Uh, if JV signs and starts at MLB for Atlanta - call me crazy but isn't that a GOOD thing for our offense?
|
Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
JV is nowhere near the player he used to be, that was evident when undrafted Jo-Lonn Dunbar outplayed him in 2010 when vilma got injured
Couple knee surgeries later, I'm sure it'll work out great for us if they do sign him |
Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
With his TV experience in front of cameras, he would have been really good to watch on Hard Knocks. And I'm being serious.

Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
I've always liked JV. Thought he was a class act. And I'm really happy he didn't sign with Atlanta. Ick. Gross.

I don't want him on an opposing defense but I can deal with it. Just like the numerous other players that have defected that we still love. Like Bobby Hebert and Morton Anderson did. I hope he makes it onto a roster somewhere.........if it's the Failcons that's fine. Unfortunately, he probably won't make it through the season though and will wind up on IR.(with a paycheck) I hope his knees don't give out later in life. |

[QUOTE=Rugby Saint II;597683]I understand how you might feel this way. But he kept to the high road in his fight with Godhell and created enough controversy to eventually have the players cleared. He is a class act and played his heart out for us.

Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
Am I the only one hoping they do sign him? I mean JV's been done for a good minute. Loved the guy, great LB, but they can certainly have him at this point. Does anyone know if he can still walk at this point?

Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
What's funny is we went and signed their top MLB a couple of seasons ago.

I can't be mad at him. The guy wants to play football and I hope he does well.
At the end of the day it's only a game. |
Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
As much as I hate the Falcons, I can't fault a guy for going where the money is.
I had a job with a company that I really liked and ended up going to their direct competition for a higher wage. It happens. |
Re: Jonathan Vilma working out with Atlanta Falcons
Good luck to Vilma. Wish he were still in top shape to still be a Saint. He'll always be great in my book as he stood up to Herr Goodell.
