New Orleans Saints rookies to report to training camp Sunday

New Orleans Saints rookies will report to training camp Sunday, and veterans are to report by July 24, according to a NFL release Monday (July 14). The Saints previously announced a full training camp schedule.

The team will train at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, from July 24 through Aug. 13.

The team will travel Aug. 14 to New Orleans for a preseason game the next day (Aug. 15) against the Tennessee Titans.

The Saints will hold training camp practices in Metairie from Aug. 17 to Aug. 26, with exception for a practice Aug. 20 in Mandeville.

Saints coach Sean Payton said last month the team will report at the Saints facility and Metairie and will travel by charter plane to West Virginia for training camp.

Ill be there for the titans game and the sunday afternoon training camp too, if it doesn't rain.

I think Cooks will be a very good player for us.

But let's temper the expectations a bit. Remember Tavon Austin being drafted by the St. Louis Rams? He didn't exactly set the world on fire.

Perhaps the coaching and the QB may play into the equation. Just saying.

Rams had bad QB play and poor play calling. Brian Schottenheimer did an awful job.
