Overall, its kinda sad but the first practice there was only about 300ish fans there, about a 5th from New Orleans it seems. Second practice even less, maybe 150. The players were nice, friendly, taking time to sign for people and pictures. Today I am going to a "Picnic with the Saints", where we get to grab autos and pictures, and have hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, cookies, and drinks for $10

Well Virginia isn't exactly Saints country. I understand the reason for getting out of La in July and August, but you can't expect Saints fans to travel several states away for a month just to watch practice. I wish I could, but that just isn't a possibility. I'm sure the players understand. It's a trade off, they have to do what benefits the team in quest for wins.
