Just updating. Not trying to bring doom and gllom. Fortunately every team deals with injuries to key players at some point. All things considered it's pretty much an even playing field around the league.

I hate hearing SP talk about injuries - he said victor butlers injury was not serious and then later said his ACL was torn and he's out for the year

Quad is super obnoxious. Right when you think it's better you mess it up again. I hurt my quad running track in high school and it didn't get right for about 3 years.

This won't be the 1st minor injury everyone grossly over-reacts to.

I guess its well earned with Payton saying Butlers injury last year was minor and he was placed on IR about 7 minutes later.

Isolated incident, besides, Triplett already confirmed it was a quad that had also bothered him two weeks ago. Nothing serious.

John Deshazier reported on the Black and Gold afternoon report that Stills had a tight quad two weeks ago when he was working out in San Diego.

He started feeling tightness again this morning and was kept out the rest of practice for precautionary reasons

If you're a lock to make the roster they'll hold u out of practice for a broken fingernail. It could be serious but training camp "injuries" are dubious at best but sometimes guys do get hurt.

11. Kenny Stills missed practice after suffering a quad injury Friday. The receiver rode a stationary bike and the injury isn't expected to be serious. The Saints' offense plans to lean heavily on the second-year player after an offensive overhaul

I heard they had to amputate below the knee and replace it with one of those "blade runner" springs!

Caught the live updates today

Byrd and stills were going through individual workouts on the sideline and they reported both players looked to be running comfortably
