New Orleans Saints try to set 'tone' in chippy practice; Cam Jordan OK after brief trip to sidelines

White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. -- Two small scraps punctuated the New Orleans Saints' practice session at the Greenbrier resort on Thursday, after defensive end Cam Jordan said there was a conscious effort to set a physical "tone" after an off day.
"Today was about being more physical," he said. "You call it nasty; I call it setting the tone." Jordan was involved in one of the mini-scuffles, this one against rookie offensive tackle Tavon Rooks. "He was wearing a white jersey and happened to get in my way," Jordan said matter-of-factly. The other tussle was between linebacker Curtis Lofton and running back Khiry Robinson. I love it! When I play the guys I fight the most at practise are my best friends on the team.

Does anybody remember the chippy practices we had when GW first arrived? That set the tone for the season.:bng:
