Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
The Bucs ?
The only team in this division that has no QB ? Smiths first year ? Sorry that's a damned lie !!! |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
It's called faux reporting.

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
NFL Network constantly ****s on the Saints.

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
Ridiculous. There is no reasonable, logical way you can look at all four NFCS teams and say that the Saints aren't far and away the best. We have the best roster, the best coaches, and the best combination of offense and defense. The Panthers are basically half a team, the Bucs are just trying not to be a joke and the Falcons have one of the thinnest rosters in the league. Them saying one of those 3 teams is favored to win the division instead of the Saints is pure trolling material.

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
None of them could compete last year. And we got much better on both sides of the ball.

Typical media bullshyt...they'll be kissing our a$$ halfway through the season.

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
.....but I will say-Tampa is intriguing this year, and if anybody in our division gives us a fight, It'll probably be them IMO.

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
All I can say is.... get the Buc out of here. :bs:

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
Excellent news - starting off under the radar.
This team wins it all this year - I have a feeling... |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
I love it when they undervalue us
Nfl network has already given the next superbowl to seattle vs denver with a possible san fran or new england hiccup Will love it when they are wrong |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
They like to pick the most unlikely team so if it does happen they look like geniuses. Its their job. I don't think they will be a walk in the park, and will likely give us a hell of a game like we expect from a division foe but them winning the division is a little out there.
It is clearly between us and Atlanta. Everyone wants to write Atlanta off, but they have had 2 13-3 seasons in the last 3 years. Last year they had some injury to key players and weren't as bad as their record reflected. They will be right back in the hunt again this year. |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
Couldn't care less what they say...or what any analyst says at this point about who's the best/worst. I like what I am hearing and seeing from the training field and am excited about the upcoming season but let analysts say what they want and come come game-time, let the teams decide.

Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
kinda like going to the track. mmmmm not sure witch way to go? then go with win place or show.
the bucs do scare me i have to admit. ton of talent and lovie smith will not let them beat themselves at the end games. I wish we were on the road Oct 5 to play Tampa instead of at the dome. NFC South always plays each other close. First win the division. the rest will take care of itself who knows the last game of the year might be huge on the road in Tampa |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
NFL Networks predicts.....
Whatever. |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
I see them laughing now...looking at their paychecks...
"They actually paid us for this? Man we've got some sweet jobs" |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
Remember when warren sapp tried to throw jeremy shockey under the bus saying he told goodell about the bounty stuff, then Sapp got fired and re-hired about 2 months later.....
yeah, they're the kind of people who NFL Network has working for them |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
That segment was pretty much a fact free zone. hmmm.
"The Saints have all the talent, great offense, great defense, great coaching, and the best QB in the division, if not the NFC..." "BUT!!! worst to first happens in this division all the time. So it has to happen again this season..." National media people value consistency (and large markets of course). Teams that win their division every year and go to the championship and SB all the time (Patriots) are unquestioned. Even though the Saints have been to the playoffs 4 of the last 5 years, and have had 4 10+ win seasons in the same span, that because they do not win the division each and every year, and do not show up in the championship game each and every year, their ability to dominate their division is questioned by the media each and every year. To me the math is pretty simple. The Saints had a top 5 offense and defense last year. They have the same coaching staff. They improved their roster on both sides of the ball. None of the other three teams in the division pulled off all three since the end of last season. It's a no brainer... SFIAH |

I think our only challenge will be the Bucs. I think we will blow them away but they could be a possible playoff team. NO 13-3 TB 10-6, 9-7 CAR 6-10 ATL 6-10 |

They got exposed in the playoffs, I didnt think they were anything close to a sb contender. They just won 12 games against a arguably batch of beatable offenses. |

Too many teams that should beat Atlanta played scared against them. I notice it too much. |

Rams @Steelers Saints(one of them at least) @Redskins @Lions It comes down to if they beat Atlanta week 3 and sweep them. Then they win 11 games. If they lose to Atlanta they go 10-6 I think. This scares me though we host packers week 8 and they host vikings. Notice something there? One of us is going to lose. Falcons I have surely losing to us, GB, Min or Chi, Bal or Cin, @TB, and @NY. It comes down to if they beat us once or bucs once. These games scare me @Atl Min(because of starting out 2 games on the road) @Dal(I think we can win but tread careful) TB(even at home this could be a challenge) GB SF/Cin/Bal(home stretch against three good teams) @Pit @Chi @TB We have a test ahead, there are good defenses going up against our offense as well as good offenses going up against our defense and the vikings is a big time sleeper team. |
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
In other words TB finishes 3rd or 1st
|
Re: Saints picked to finish second in division by NFL network
"It's just the facts."
Did he just say that with a straight face? His whole speech was facts that point to the Saints winning, and his reason for picking the Bucs was "sometimes teams go worst to first". NFL.com tries harder and harder every year to just...plain...suck. |

I don't think any team is a match for us this year. We have an easy schedule compared to other years. AFC North is a joke, they are almost as over-hyped as the NFC east. Only team that concerns me this year is the Saints. If we play our ball with the talent we have no one can beat us. |
