What do you mean? Usually when people tell a player to shut up and play it's because he is whining or unproductive, or both.

With that being said, Ingram has accomplished little to nothing in his pro career, and Galette just had a 12 sack season. He is not whining or saying anything remotely inflamatory that anyone should be telling him to shut up. Anything to make poor ole Mark a victim, I guess.

I know it was sarcasm. It was sarcasm that was obviously directed at people who want Ingram to shut up, but not other players. And the player mentioned was talking about a team goal, AND is coming off an outstanding season. It was a bad comparison, that in my opinion was intended to cast pity on a player who doesn't warrant any pity. Every player who doesn't produce gets the same treatment.

he is going to have a beard down to his knees by season end. he has a heck of a start already. ok chest length by the end of 16 games. well at least he did not say a thing about not showering

Let's face it, Ingram receives most of the dislike because he came from Alabama. There would be more tolerance for him if he came from LSU. Galette
had a great year after he was allowed to play just about every down. It took JR 4 years to have a brake out year Don't you think if Ingram played every down he would have better stats? Sometimes I just don't understand the hate.

I was so excited when we drafted Ingram but he hasnt produced yet. But none of our other backs have either. This year with a much improved WR core well see if some new running room can be found because defenses cant put 8 in the box anymore.

I might be the exception to this because I wouldn't care if Mark played his college ball at Muddwater State. At the end of the day, we all have the same objective and that is to win NFL games and bring that Lombardi back to New Orleans.

And oh, one more thing... "Roll tide!" (this is coming from an LSU alum).
