Saints' Galette: Armstead is a "beast"
1 Attachment(s)
“I’m going into my fifth year in the league, and I’ve played I think the best of the tackles there is in the league, and I’d put him up there,” Saints outside linebacker Junior Galette said. “His feet are incredible. I have to give him my all to get around him. I tell him all the time, ‘You’re a beast.’
“Obviously he still has a lot of room for improvement, and so do I. But man, it’s iron sharpening iron. If I feel like I had a rough day, I could say, ‘Hey, this guy is pretty good too. He’s one of the better tackles.’ I can look at that in a positive light. ... “I’m giving him everything I’ve got. Obviously I think he did pretty well [in Saturday’s scrimmage]. He’s upset about the one he gave up on me. But hey, I do what I do too.” Saints' Galette: Armstead is a "beast" - New Orleans Saints Blog - ESPN |

Willie Roaf said the same thing about Armstead when he trained with him, saying Terron has some of the best feet he's ever seen from an offensive lineman
Stay hungry and keep working armstead |

We've had a revolving door at center for a few years now and every single year they say the center battle is going great. We signed a washed up Olin Kreutz and the word was that he was rejuvenated, but when the games came around he was just ok, and then quit. We drafted Tennant, who was talked up to be the next great Center in the league, and we have heard nothing from him since. I don't know if he's even playing football anymore. Then DLP steps in and does ok given the circumstances, but his play was way over-hyped and this past year he got exposed quite a bit. And that brings us to today, where we are hearing the same thing. I'm hopeful but very pessimistic about that position. |

Further, even if Goodwin wasn't signed, Payton seemed confident in Tim Lelito getting it done at Center... Now Grubbs, he and his over the top salary/I got mines attitude worries me... And Love Zach Strief, but we could use more athleticism at right tackle for the screens (see Seattle, SF, Rams games) and bubble routes (i.e. Cooks, Stills)... But the depth (imagine that where our team is that we're talking depth), we'll have to see how far Harris, Rooks during pre-season... |

Reddick has been steady, Coleman has been unimpressive. He doesn't come off the line well at all and still drops passes. I saw a video of SJB running a back and forth drill, he looked awkward changing directions, very giraffe like. I think quick WR's (like a Lance Moore) are gonna give him problems. Obviously the pre-season games will tell us more. |
