New Orleans Saints' updated roster includes position changes
 

The New Orleans Saints updated their official roster on Monday, including a handful of position changes.

Most of the changes reflected position switches that had already occurred on the field during camp or organized team activities this summer.

For example, offensive lineman Marcel Jones is built like a tackle and has spent most of his career there, but he's played all of camp at guard.

Here are the other changes from the old roster to Monday's updated version:

Todd Davis, from LB to ILB

Brandon Deaderick, from DL to NT

Manase Foketi, from T to T/G

Khairi Fortt, from ILB to OLB

Marcel Jones, from T to G

Rufus Johnson, from OLB to DE

Kyle Knox from OLB to ILB

Marcus Thompson from LB to OLB

Lawrence Virgil from DE to NT

Jason Weaver, from T to T/G
