White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. -- New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson was assisted to an ambulance during the team's practice Tuesday morning and transported to a local hospital to receive oxygen, according to Saints spokesman Greg Bensel. Re: New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson hospitalized in West Virginia
If the hospital visit was due to the altitude then I wouldn't worry
Tracy Porter had the same thing when he signed with Denver, got altitude sickness because he wasn't used to play where the altitude is so different |

He's old, his lungs don't work like they used to. My great-grandmother never smoked a day in her life and she ended up carting around an oxygen tank for her last year or two.

Altitude sickness is pretty common, especially in old people. Hopefully, that's all it is.

Re: New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson hospitalized in West Virginia
People. Just this Spring Benson was given a totally clean bill of health. It's nothing serious. He is elderly and he has been busy "smoozing" with the elite and fans for the past week. Couple that with the elevation and it will have an affect.
Hell, I know I can't beat out an infield grounder for a single anymore. I would pull a hammy on the swing. We all get older, but that doesn't mean we are in bad health. |
