Obviously, our team worries them or they wouldn't even be fantasizing about this. But since they are doing so on a public forum, our offensive line now has a warning and should prepare to protect Brees at all costs. And if turnabouts is fair play, well....

Re: Falcon Fans considerating cheap shot on Injured Brees

Looks guys and gals, its real simple, they know for a fact that the Saints are going to go into that dump of a dome and beat their ass. They also know how powerful this team will be on both sides of the ball. This is the best way to make themselves feel better.

Look, when a marketing group has to make up a slogan for your Team "Rise Up" which is so damn stupid, it just shows they have no culture. They need someone to tell them what to do. Ok guys, now RISE UP.

No sit your asses down and watch this beat down that is about to happen. Don't worry Failclowns, September will be here before you know it and you will be 0-1 again.

They do that allready. I don't really think what some fans, of the team with the "Throw Up" slogan, write on the internet will have anything to dod with what the players of said team does on the field.

I just had a Jim Rome flashback.

Loved some of the comments. Calling Drew a turd stain was the best. Audio, I'm surprised you didn't leave a Matty photo reply on that one.

I have no problem with it. They can try. But let's be honest, we're talking about the Falcons. Nobody on that team has the guts and they haven't had a decent pass rush since the late 1970's.

If the line blocks and Drew gets rid of the ball the opportunity will not present it self.

I considered the photo of Ryan flipped over on the ground with a "streak mark" clearly visible in his drawers

then again posting the Vacarro hit youtube sure stirred them up

let your play speak for itself

you can't talk how your going to get tough
when your owner has to call you out on it publically well that says a lot about your lack thereof

what I saw of the Atl exhibition game against the Dolphins
we will be controlling both lines of scrimmage

how many of our current defenders were on that 2009 team?

pretty few once Jenkins and Harper left

We own the Dirty Birds. Looking for a big statement game Sept. 7, no 3 pt. nail biter. Brees will perform surgery as usual. Hoping Atl is a full strength, so no post arse-whoopin excuses come out.

I would probably be saying something equally stupid after watching Matthews play in the opener...and that was against the Dolphins D.

No one is left from the 2009 defense. Wow.

Unfortunately his "justice" seems to be flawed. I won't even get into "Bountygate"...

Take a supplement that you think the NFL is OK with - 4 games off (aka Will Smith, Deuce et al). Beat up on you girl - 2 games (aka Ray Rice)

I would suspect if a Falcons player KO'd Drew with a crowbar they MIGHT get a game suspension at most...

Not a single player. Not many left from the whole team, in fact. Brees, PT, Colston, Meachem, Evans and Morstead.

and Meachem is on the bubble

and yet the Saints still have that swagger
and a much improved d

I still think that 2011 team was one "shoulda been in prevent Greg" play away from Super Bowl champs

The focus right now should be winning a championship this year, but when all is said and done for some of our stars, they need to do one of those "Lost Ring" shows on NFL Network about the 2011 Saints.

I may be off my rocker and I know "Any Given Sunday", but there's no way anyone will ever convince me that the NY Giants come to NOLA and beat that team in the Superdome. For that matter, neither would have San Fran. The loss to the Rams that year cost the team in the end.

That should have been the 2nd ring in 3 years...

teams are anxious playing the Saint and networks love showing the team

They beat up on the Giants a few weeks earlier in the dome,
and the Patriots the last time the Saints faced them

even better than a lost ring is winning another one

still it's a shame all that they came back from in that game and without a key rb in Pierre. I really wish they could have delivered Sproules a ring

The 2011 team was better than the 09 team, IMO. Absolutely would've destroyed the Giants in the Dome. I still think Gregg Williams had questionable motives in the way he coached that game at the end.

Re: Falcon Fans considerating cheap shot on Injured Brees

Lol if they can't beat us cheat us. Falcons fans are just embarrassed because we have won the last 13 out of 15 meetings with them. That's just demoralizing.
I wonder if Smith will have them go for it on 4th and goal again?
Seems to always work out real well for him.

For the first time ever I can say I am 100% confident in a win at their house.
We have taken the familiarity aspect out of the game by changing our offensive philosophy a bit, and they won't know how to deal with our defensive looks either.

Ive always said that he knew the **** was going to hit the fan and that last call was a middle finger to Payton and the organization.

I remember reading somewhere one of the Giants players saying they absolutely did not want to play the NFCC game against the Saints in the Superdome; I believe the word used was 'terrified'.

The Saints would have destroyed the Pats in the Super Bowl that year.

We're jinxed for sure now.

If we lose now it's your fault, you know that right.

Yeah. They called it the Bermuda triangle. "Teams go in, but they don't come out."

My vacuum cleaner broke. I put an Atlanta Falcons sticker on it, and now it sucks again.
