this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Might be irrelevant since most CB's have a vertical that would make Michael Jordan proud....

Dead on but it's not just vertical. Horizontal longer reach and taller often means heavier. That's a lot of upside for one trait. It also wears down a CB going up against a giant all game.
