New Orleans Saints waive four players
Flanders, Palmer, Hamm and Uzo-Diribe I'm disappointed that Flanders was such a non-factor, but I honestly think they just like Strozier that much. I suppose Hamm could be a PS guy but it's hard to prove yourself worthy of a spot when you can't get on the field. I really would've liked to see Palmer get a chance fielding kickoffs and punts with that speed, but oh well. |

Sometimes teams release players early when they know they won't make the team but feel they would have a shot somewhere else. Others they will keep around as camp bodies.

No surprises here, I think I heard Payton say if he had to.. Again if he had to he could make all the cuts... So he already knows who is on and who is not... Just trying to see who shines and if he is right or not...
Strozier does deserve to continue. I like him... Also, it was a big stretch for any undrafted trying to crack the D Line this season... |
