Rosters down to 75 Tuesday at 400 est
 

Probably zero surprises on Tuesday, but quite a few guys are playing for their lives against the Ravens.

Brings us to a review of the 2014 draft:
Who will be the first pick cut?

1. Cooks- looks like he'll start
2. SJB- large body of work to look at, but how much of it is good? At some point I'd like to hear "talented" instead of "raw"
3. The other pick we used on Cooks.
4. Fortt- injury might be 'forttuitous' at a crowded position. SP & Mickey love the pro red shirt
5. Sunseri- fan fav and baller on ST. Barring significant injuries at OL and/ or WR, I think he makes it
5. Powell- actually led us in tackles yesterday, but think he might be one playing for a spot on Thursday night
6. Rooks- SP generally only carries 8 OL. You have the 5 starters and the loser of the center derby, plus 2 others. He would need to beat out Harris, Jones, Kelemete and Welch. Doubtful.

i know he does it nearly every year, but I can't remember the IR redshirt working on anyone. Am I obviously forgetting someone?

Man there are going to be some tough cuts. I really like this Seantavius Jones guy at receiver but we are loaded. Too many players to go through. After that the cut down to 53 will be brutal. It just goes to show that we have great depth on both sides.

Good question... hopefully the answer will be Yes on Toon and Morgan. Can't remember if Bushrod was IR or just never dressed.

Nope, its never worked, albeit Morgan and Toon can be the 1st.

We do have pretty good depth... except at one of the CB positions and one could also argue LB.

I think the OL is the worst place for depth. When the starters go out it seems the back up QBs are scrambling on almost every play. Been that way for a couple years too.

hard to see Powell making it, Rooks too but at least we've heard some good things about Rooks. Powell has looked awful.

That's weird, I thought Powell looked great against the Colts. This is the 1st I've heard anyone say he's looked awful.

SP and the saints us IR as a way to cut players and still keep them? never in a million years. lmao yeah right the saints always stash draft picks away on IR or use the pro red shirt.

This round of cuts will most likely include Tanner, Foketi, Nsekne, Uko, Zimmerman, Armstrong, Frederick, Beckum, Hawkins, Davis, and Weaver.

I thought the line looked pretty damn respectable when Evans and Grubbs were out.

Our cuts probably have a better chance than most of the cuts from other teams.
