Drew Brees and his wife Brittany announce birth of fourth child.
First daughter.

"I was there to catch the snap, so to speak," Brees said.

Brees said four appears to be the limit for the family as three boys and one girl were what he and Brittany wanted when they first got married. Brees also said, in a bit of a too much information moment, that the "V" word as in vasectomy might be in the cards for him.

A couple seasons back one of his contacts came out after a sack and noticed him pick it up and go to the sideline

I played sports with glasses when I was younger, also went through basic training with glasses. Trust me, you do not want our QB with sweat and fog on his glasses trying to hit our brand new 4.3 receiver 40 yards away.

Helmeted sports are horrible for glasses especially football and catcher.

He should remain focused on football. All these off the field issues are going to effect his decision making and be a distraction to the team.

Good point. Didn't Eric Dickerson wear goggles? Not sure if he ever commented on wearing them. It seems like Drew's contacts would fall out more than they do (i.e., the Navarro Bowman turtle neck hit).

I think Dickerson did but running isn't threading a needle with a football or catching a curve ball. I've worn contacts for decades now and they don't come out unless they get dry, something touches them and wipes them out or I take them out.

In all my years of wearing them I sleep on them and have never woken up with them out. They somewhat adhere to the eyeball, not a suction but close to a cling.
