this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think the conversation has taken a wrong turn. My original comment was directed at Xan claiming he's done nothing to earn that money, which I think is false. Just because he didn't suit up on Sundays doesn't mean he ...

Re: Tanner's back...again
I think the conversation has taken a wrong turn. My original comment was directed at Xan claiming he's done nothing to earn that money, which I think is false. Just because he didn't suit up on Sundays doesn't mean he didn't work his ass off all week like the rest of the team did.

If a 23 year old lance Moore came into Saints camp this year, he most likely wouldn't make the team or he'd be put on the PS Lance Moore took advantage of the situation when we only really had colston that had proven himself, tanner isn't so lucky because the first 4 or 5 spots are pretty much set in stone |

Lots of comparing him to Lance Moore... Lance Moore is now on an active roster in Pittsburgh so I wouldn't necessarily say they are equal talents, if they were.... the Steelers could have had Tanner for a lot less than $1.5m/year. |

Tanner is always in a difficult spot because he has colston, Graham, stills, toon, meachem and now cooks ahead of him Of course that does beg the question, if tanner deserved a shot somewhere else, why hasnt a team claimed him on the waiver wire? |
