Week One Power Rankings
I got the drop on all you thugs. We're #5:
5 Saints 11-5 -- Last Week: 5 New Orleans opens on the road, but the Saints have won four of their past five games at Atlanta. It's not the Superdome, but it's still a dome. NFL Power Rankings Week 1 - National Football League - ESPN |

Re: Week One Power Rankings
Euph,
Actually the best thing about NFL power rankings are their complete worthlessness. Absolutely nothing other than play on the field determines playoff seeding, playoff wins, and the SB champion each year. All this is just ESPN content filler specifically designed to generate arguments among fans. Also note that these rankings pretty much follow the outcomes from the playoffs last year. As I said. Completely worthless. I just cannot wait until Sunday. SFIAH |

Oh I have a reputation on these power bottom rankings... no worries.

Re: Week One Power Rankings
The Saints beat the 9ers just last season. The Saint should be ahead of them based on that alone.
And with Bowman and A. Smith out, I'd say they've gotten worse. #4 is too high for them, in my opinion. |

It is still an honor to be in the top #5.

Which means the Saints don't make the new college football playoff, what a let down
