Scouting the Saints with Jabari Greer
Sounds like he left the door open for a return to football...
Jabari Greer's career with the New Orleans Saints was cut short last year by a major knee injury. He's still keeping close tabs on the team, and he has agreed to join me on occasion to share his thoughts on the Saints -- unless, of course, the right opportunity lures the veteran cornerback back onto the football field. Greer Scouts the Secondary with Triplett
I hope his faith in P-Rob is truly well founded.

Re: Scouting the Saints with Jabari Greer
I posed this question earlier in the pre season. I would not be upset at all if we brought him in on the cheap. Only if he can still play. We need a little help at CB and are likely to need to sign one if injuries start to happen at that position.
I could see Payton bringing him back like he did McKinzie. Even if he has lost a step if gotten for the right price he could be of some help. |
Re: Scouting the Saints with Jabari Greer
If Greer can get healthy for the playoff run, I see no reason why he can't be brought in if we have injuries at CB.

Re: Scouting the Saints with Jabari Greer
Greer would be a good back up plan now that I think about it.

Re: Scouting the Saints with Jabari Greer
kind of a broken record with Tanner, Griffin, etc, but 31 other teams had a shot at him and passed
I really like Greer, but I think we probably cut better options |
