Yards on White and Robinson
Can someone who recorded the game go back and look at how many yards were gained on Robinson and White, when they were in coverage whether or not they made the tackle or not? I am deployed and could not record the game and I cant find any stats on it. If you dont mind put up the stats vs Lewis in coverage. I know our pass rush didnt help anyone on the back end. TIA.

Plenty of blame to go around. I'm a little surprised you were only able to single out White and Robinson. It was a collective ass whopping. Oak has a nice little thread on their grades you should check out.

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
No I blame the whole team. It was a TEAM loss. I just want it for comparison.

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
also you have to place the D play calling to. At times they were so far back to try and prevent big plays that they were able to gash us for big yards in the passing game.

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
I blame Atlanta... they have improved big time.

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
Ryan spread the ball around very well and with very little pass rush, can't cover everybody. Atlanta's offense just had a great game and they came out on the winning side BARELY.

It got so bad that they even made Steven Jackson look good!!!!

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
Honestly I want to see if I missed something during the game. Everyone is bashing those two and I want to see if they are right or not. I think the D as a whole including coaching was awful at best last night.

if you want to know something just ask me ... White allowed 6 Rec for 65 yards Robinson allowed 4 Rec for 87 yards Hawthorne allowed 5 Red for 67 yards Lewis allowed 6 Rec for 47 yards Lofton allowed 5 Rec for 76 yards Vaccaro allowed 2 Rec for 25 yards Humber allowed 1 Rec for 19 yards Bush allowed 1 Rec for 39 yards Byrd allowed 1 Rec for 23 yards In the grand scheme of things, the performance of White/Robinson is moot. Lewis stunk it up as well. |

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
Thanks Oak!!!! You have made the argument of White and Robinson sucking so bad we need Champ back irrelevent. You are right the whole D stunk it up. Hopefully R. Ryan gets in that A$$ and they fix this crap before Sunday.

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
Its all about match up nightmares. We use it every game, every season.
When you have Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Harry Douglas on the field at the same time... Which LB is going to cover the third guy well? Here are the Thrown At numbers, and the yards after the catch. Now we can see the story of how poor tackling made playing off a worst case scenario. Hawthorne TA 8 YAC 21 White TA 8 YAC 26 Lewis TA 7 YAC 39 Lofton TA 5 YAC 59 Vaccaro TA 4 YAC 6 Robinson TA 4 YAC 21 Humber TA 2 YAC 3 Byrd/Bush TA 1 each, YAC 4 total between the two. |
Re: Yards on White and Robinson
Complete FAIL from front to back. Main blame needs to be on the line. They got zero pressure. What really burns my butt is that Gallette couldn't do anything against a very bad LT. The entire line looked slow and out of shape.

Re: Yards on White and Robinson
The fact that they dropped 500+ yards and still had to go to overtime to win says a lot.
