Visiting the "Dawg Pound": What Saints Must Do vs. Cleveland
As long as the defense doesn't repeat Game 1 we should be all right.

Re: Visiting the "Dawg Pound": What Saints Must Do vs. Cleveland
Cleveland has a good ground game, a better O-line than Atlanta and talent at a lot of positions.
I thought this might be the game where we lay an egg. Could happen, but probably not. I'd be very surprised if we lost, but not shocked. |
Re: Visiting the "Dawg Pound": What Saints Must Do vs. Cleveland
I remember all too well when Cleveland came to the Dome and shocked us. No game is definite, have to eliminate mistakes and keep the pedal down for four quarters.

Find a way to make Hoyer have to throw like Drew and it's a wrap.

They are a good football team. The Saints will have their hands full.

We need to come out on fire and keep the throttle down, if we keep Cleveland in the game I guarantee we will lose another close game

We are 7 point favs, should be sunny and 65.
I wouldn't read too much into the Pittsburgh performance; the Steelers are in a steady decline. |
Re: Visiting the "Dawg Pound": What Saints Must Do vs. Cleveland
We score half as many points as we did against Atlanta we won't lose many games. Well maybe a little more than half.

Re: Visiting the "Dawg Pound": What Saints Must Do vs. Cleveland
God if we start off 0-2 I don't know that my new found optimism can handle that much.

Re: Visiting the "Dawg Pound": What Saints Must Do vs. Cleveland
a bit of a tip for anyone going to the game. do not get overly cocky with the brownies. acknowledge the game should be hard fought and we need or A game to win. if we play like we did in atlanta we will probably not stand a chance. brownies can be a hard nose group.

Coin toss will be as good as it gets, unfortunately.

Things to know if you do not about the Browns.
Josh Gordon -- is not playing Jordan Cameron - is day to day with a recurring injury. He went down at the end of last week Ben Tate - Out 2-4 weeks. Andrew Hawkins will be their main target in the passing game Terrance West will be their main target in the running game They have plenty of QBs, none are starting QBs in this league. Their defense had 1 INT and 4 sacks last week and Pit put up 30 points on them. |

There have been tons of fan fights and brawls in that stadium, but I can almost 100% guarantee you that there ain't no visiting fan that ever got beat down in Cleveland stadium, if you just show the Cleveland fans some Jim Brown love and respect. It's like a "get out of jail free" card to them, although I doubt it would work with actual Cleveland police. But anyway, they are serious up there about their Jim Brown, LOL. |
