Colston should be pissed. How in the hell do you fumble the ball in frikkin overtime in the biggest game of the regular season. Geeze |

Re: GIF Study: How the Falcons Torched the Saints
I don't get the safeties playing 20 yards off the LOS and cornerbacks playing 10 yards off the LOS. And in the first gif, who is covering the WR that makes the catch? Can't tell if that's a LB on him or one of our DBs.
Only rushing four players, and our DE's getting chipped by a RB or TE/WR on the start of their routes, we were in for a long day getting to the QB |
Re: GIF Study: How the Falcons Torched the Saints
If you dont press and disrupt the route it makes everything more difficult. You cannot give WR free releases in this new passing era. Bumping at the line also helps the pass rushers.

Colston has been money for us his entire career. He made MAJOR boo boos in the past 2 games. It happens. From that GIF I have a feeling its not going to happen again.

Re: GIF Study: How the Falcons Torched the Saints
Our talent on the field is better than that.
Rob Ryan needs to correct what ever he has decided to break. |
Re: GIF Study: How the Falcons Torched the Saints
Well this visually explains a lot of that 500 bazilion yards of offense by the Falcons. For most plays, the Saints only had 10 men actually defending, and one 40 yards away, watching, LOL....also I'm not sure if I saw it here or somewhere else, but on the Julio strip/fumble, Julio was breaking a big play and there was again a Saints defender ridiculously deep (couldn't see his number) on the hash marks, 25 or 30 yards away, uselessly out of position to do anything.....too deep for the throw and too far away for the tackle.
Falcons had big passing plays of 54, 39, 35, 27, 23, 13, 12 yards. Big running plays of 17, 17, and 10 yards. Having one guy hanging out so deep (WTF is he doing, waiting to return a punt?) kinda explains the offensive circus the Falcons put on. They just ate it up the whole day. |
Re: GIF Study: How the Falcons Torched the Saints
Byrd always plays way back, its part of his turnover generating ability. In Buffalo he played far enough off so a QB would throw, and with Byrds closing speed he could INT.
Problem here is that Rob has everyone playing off which adds 10 yard to Byrds off putting him effectively in a different time zone. |
Re: GIF Study: How the Falcons Torched the Saints
They played better defense than we did. That and their offense looked really really good.
