I never saw him play HS ball. People still talk about him down there all the time. Wish I'd had the chance, I missed him by one year.

I don't think he played very much at LSU though. 4 or 5 games, maybe? he got hurt and then kicked off the team. Then he went to McNeese and got kicked out of there too.

Yes, you are correct JV. Only played briefly at LSU however while on the field, he was an absolute monster. Had so much talent and potential then he turned into a peeping tom and it was down hill from there.

It was sad watching what Cecil did to himself. And yes, he was a helluva RB at LSU

He also played for Dolphins, I watched his first NFL game, he was trucking over people dude really was a Diesel. Sad though. They said he basically had the mind of a child from one article I read.

Michael Ford has more talent than Cadet. He's got good strength, speed and quickness. He could play special teams and return kicks. I think he'd be our fastest RB.

he was the team in HS. Period. He was a freak of nature and it was nothing short of amazing to watch. Wossman HS stopped him cold in his senior year in the quarter finals. It took all 11 of them on defense, but because we never passed...and I mean ever, they sold out and stopped him. Such a shame what he did to himself.

I saw a brief interview a while back, right after he was released. He seems to be at peace with all that has happened. I guess that's the best a person can hope for.

He was the best pure running back I've ever seen.
