THIS irritated me to no end. Special Teams Coordinator McMahon's idiocy reverberating in the post game wrap-up. Blame Cadet for bringing it out of the end zone, but McMahon's return schemes are horrid with blocking or lack thereof plus the gauntlet of penalties. Speaking of Special Teams...did you know that Cleveland missed a 44 yard FG? Final Score NO 24 CLE 23. What's that? A Special Team penalty? CLE now makes that FG. Updated Final Score: CLE 26 NO 24. How about that, McMahon? You are undoubtedly the WORST. |

I'm officially getting on the PRob haters bandwagon. I've refused to pass judgment on the dude for a long time now for one reason or another, but after last week and now this week, and in particular that play, I've had it with him. Good athlete, total head case. Sad thing is we're stuck with him for the year most likely. They prefer White in the slot and I don't see either of the rooks being ready. The free agent pickings are slim and we'd have to deal with a new guy learning the system if we did bring in someone. Bailey isn't the answer either so no point barking up that tree again. Let's all hope the pass rush awakens from its slumber some time soon or its gonna be a long season on D. |

Cannot recount just how many of these little trips from the F-Up Fairy over the years that have occurred on Special Teams in one form or the other that has cost us close games. PRob's error there is a symptom; McMahon's leadership of the Special Teams is the disease. Treat and eliminate the disease. If not for Morstead, we would be completely and utterly hosed game-in, game-out. |
